I would like someone to pay off my mortgage balance ($190,000) so that I can accept women who are unable to pay the monthly fee. Or, someone to donate a fixer-upper so that I can take in women who need to get off the street, stop using drugs, and get their lives together. This would be a great tax write-off; I am willing to file for non-profit status if that would help.
The mission of the sober living home is (1) to provide an affordable alcohol and drug free environment which promotes individual recovery and allows women to develop a lifestyle consistent with recovery;
(2) to treat each woman with dignity and respect so she can recognize her true value and worth;
(3) to maintain an environment that is safe and supportive so each woman can remain focused on recovery and personal growth.
